First Login

Logging in

Open your Strawly instance in a browser (default: http://localhost:3000).

Use the default credentials:

  • Email: admin@strawly.app
  • Password: admin123

Change this password before anything else

The default password is publicly known. Anyone who can reach your Strawly instance can log in with it. Change it immediately after your first login.

Changing the admin password

  1. Click your avatar or initials in the top-right corner of the UI.
  2. Select Profile or Account settings.
  3. Navigate to the Password section.
  4. Enter your current password (admin123) and choose a new, strong password.
  5. Save the change.

Changing the admin email

The default admin email is admin@strawly.app. To use your own email address:

  1. Go to Profile → Account settings.
  2. Update the email address field.
  3. Save the change.

Creating additional admin accounts

If more than one person needs admin access, create a separate account for each person rather than sharing the admin credentials. See Managing Users to create additional accounts and assign the Admin role.

Once you have a personal admin account, you can disable or delete the default admin@strawly.app account.
